Challenge Program

Like the Exploration and Journey Series Programs, the Challenge Program is easy to implement and administer. The learner-based program provides individuals with safety and swimming skills that will be used for lifelong enjoyment of the water.

The Challenge Program addresses the entire spectrum, matching different needs with two challenges at three different performance levels. These performance levels are novice, advanced and expert. You have the flexibility to offer any or all of these components to meet your programming needs. You also may organize your course offerings and sessions in any manner that works best for your situation.

If you are satisfied with the way your program is set up, you probably won’t have to change a thing! Because of the built-in flexibility, the Challenge Program can be simply implemented into what you are already doing. If you feel you need changes, design something new!

Student - Instructor Ratio

As long as the Program Coordinator is following all safety requirements of the program, the maximum ratio depends upon the activity and ability level of the students in the class.

Materials

Support materials include wall mount progress charts and a reproducible certificate found in your instructor manual. You will have the ability to merge any detailed information on each student directly to the paper. Swim the Seven Seas Charts and Card are available for order to keep track of student skill progression.
