Training
We took everything a lifeguard team and Swimming facility manager needed to know to be successful and put it into one Comprehensive Program... Ours!
We insist on being the best. So do our clients. That's why we partnered with Ellis and Associates.
Comprehensive Aquatic Risk Management Program. We put safety first. That's why we choose Ellis & Associates as our safety protocol partner. Our Comprehensive Aquatic Risk Management Program provides proactive standards, policies, and procedures grounded in risk-management principles. The Comprehensive Aquatic Risk Management Program provides in-house Lifeguard training, CPR and First Aid. We also provide Emergency Oxygen and AED training to multi-staff facilities.
The Comprehensive Aquatic Risk management Program requires complete mandatory lifeguard testing and re-licensing every year. The accountability built into the Lifeguard license is what separates us from the competition and is the single most important reason why E&A client facilities, including Continental Pools, can boast of their unprecedented safety record.
It Works.
When it comes to Aquatic Safety, E&A and Continental Pools set the standard. In many instances, Ellis & Associates sets the standard in the industry: an example would be the nearly universal adoption of the E&A 10/20 response rule. The 10/20 rule created by E&A has been totally accepted as the standard of care which should be provided by ALL lifeguards.
The dynamics of our training guidelines are such that courses and materials can be modified yearly, enabling the adoption of new techniques and developments rapidly, and allow us to stay on the cutting edge of technical and medical information.
The trainers of Continental Pools have been carefully chosen. They are a unique group: highly competent, skilled, dedicated to safety in aquatics, and dedicated to the principles and programs of Ellis & Associates. The trainers at Continental Pools are also E&A instructors. Each year the trainers of CPI are represented at NASS (National Aquatic Safety School) not only to learn the latest techniques, but also as instructors. We are the only local swimming pool management company who can declare this level of involvement and support at NASS.
