This discount is only available to those who agree to work for Continental Pools.  Certifications for non-employees will not be issued.  Registration is limited by instructor availability and facility size, therefore, training fees are non-refundable. Pre-requisite of the online Ellis & Associates modules need to be completed before the in-person class. You must have applied and interviewed for the position in order to be eligible to register.  The current price of the course reflects an agreement to work from Memorial Day through Labor Day unless a different employment period is agreed upon. If not, the employee will be responsible for the difference between the discounted price and the full cost of the lifeguarding class. The cost for the lifeguarding class for non-employees is $350.00.

• Minimum age: 15 years
• Swim a distance of 100 yards using crawl or breaststroke without resting
• Feet-First dive, retrieve a 10-pound brick from a minimum depth of 8 feet and bring it to the surface.
• Tread water without using arms for 1 minute
• Minimum of 6 students per instructor; maximum of 16 students

Course Cancellation Policies

Weather Cancellation

If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions any student in an affected course will be able to transfer to the next available course from additional charges.

Participant Cancellation

If a student cancels any time prior to the start day of the course the student will not receive any type of refund. If the cancellation is a minimum of 48 hours before the start day of the course the initial payment can be applied towards a future course. For any cancellation under 48 hours’ notice, the participant will need to submit a new payment. Calling or emailing the training facility to cancel is not the proper procedure to cancel and a refund will not be issued.  In order to cancel enrollment please contact your local recruiter. You will need to provide your name, phone number, and course information.
