It’s all in the details
This recent pump room renovation has been a very interesting project. After removing the pool’s original filters and pump, we wanted to give this property’s pump room a new shine. The inspiration for this project came from Continental Pools’ president, Nick Lally, who recently shared photos of a pump room renovation where he incorporated labeling of pool plumbing equipment for easier and user-friendly operation. Creating labels was quick and easy, using labeling paper. It’s amazing how small details can make a job more professional.
Another idea that surfaced during this project was adding a sight glass for the backwash line. We wanted to add a sight glass without downsizing the plumbing diameter so we used a 3″ clear PVC sch40 pipe. The customer was very happy and excited once the project was complete.
